Why do I return to the sling when I know it IS for freedom that Christ came? He's shown me the very way to exit my wound's gripping hold & yet I return. No! No, I don't need to listen to the cry of my wound. I can stand upright & say with confidence that because Christ came for this very reason I need to not slap Him in the face with my excuses (& sling) but turn with my head held high into His face & rest in Him. In brokenness I come, Lord. My sling's too tight! ~T.
